Liverpool already knew that it would be facing Real Madrid, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan, Lille, PSV, Bologna and Girona in the Champions League this season after Thursday's UEFA draw, but the dates of those matches have now been confirmed.

Because of the complexities of the new so-called Swiss model, which is used across the Champions League, the Europa League and the Conference League, it has taken a couple of days to work out the fixture schedule.

UEFA has now confirmed, however, when the matches will be and the order in which they will be played.

At Anfield, Liverpool will be playing Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Lille and Bologna — one team from each pot. It will also travel to Leipzig, Milan, PSV and Girona — again, one team from each of the four seeded parts of the group phase.
