          Matt Cardona has confirmed that Zack Ryder will not be making a comeback if he ever returns to WWE.

          After 15 years with the company, the former Intercontinental Champion was released from his contract in April 2020.

After first making appearances in AEW and Impact Wrestling, Cardona shocked the wrestling world when he competed in a Deathmatch against Nick Gage at GCW Homecoming 2021 and defeated Gage in his speciality match. Making a statement that it was his time, Cardona said goodbye to Ryder and made a name for himself outside of the company as The Deathmatch King and later the King of the Indies.

          As history has shown in the professional wrestling world, few are gone from WWE forever and there is always an opportunity to return, especially if there is money to be made.
